(Preface this post by saying, personally, I will hold back from any sustained political discussions. I share this because it illustrates how accurate the iching can be. I am referring to the individual lines rather than the overall outcome, which is open to interpretation.)

I asked about Hillary Clinton and the email issues being investigated : how much will they hold back her bid from presidency?

I understand it that the investigation will be a small restraint on her success (9) and that she will need to abide by regulations (60) .

The interesting thing is 9.3: husband and wife avert their eyes from other:

And 9.6 Hilary must not be assertive in prosecuting her case but rather act with patience like a wife

Hexagram 9 - Hsiao Ch'u (The Taming Power of the Small): There will be progress and success. We see dense clouds, but no rain coming from our borders in the west.
The third line, undivided, suggests the idea of a carriage, the strap beneath which has been removed, or of a husband and wife looking on each other with averted eyes.
The topmost line, undivided, shows how the rain has fallen, and the onward progress is stayed. So must we value the full accumulation of the virtue represented by the upper trigram. A wife exercising restraint, however firm and correct she may be, is in a position of peril, like the moon approaching full. If the superior man prosecutes his measures in such circumstances, there will be evil.

Hexagram 60 - Chieh (Limitation): There will be progress and attainment, but if the regulations prescribed be severe and difficult, they cannot be permanent.

Yes, very interesting, but I have to say, Bill's actions were not a blunder. The Clinton's have very, very, powerful allies, which puts them above the law to a certain extent. Hillary and William do roll their eyes with each other quite a bit in private, in fact, they go much further than that. I will be very interested in this election. I think Hillary will take it. Not just because the polls say so but because as has been mentioned, they have very powerful allies, and some have suggested, and very plausibly, that even if Trump gets the election, Hillary will manage to steal it from him. These people are extremely powerful.

Hexagram sixty could also indicate that in spite of everything, the damage to Hillary will be quite limited. Which seems to be the way things are working out. Nobody else who has ever run for office could withstand the accusations she has.

She is the most admired woman in the US, strongly adored, AND absolutely hated, too. Quite amazing.
I am stopping myself, though, from getting into a political discussion.

I also think that the investigation will not be a huge obstacle in her way. In line 3 people avoid full-blown confrontation. So even though Hilary and the investigators are on different side of the argument this somehow will not be taken to extreme reaction. And, also, line 6 advises to be satisfied with what it has been achieved, whatever limited. So again it is suggesting not to go any further. All these indications make me believe that the investigation will not stand in her way to the White House. Winning the Election is a different matter, it has nothing to do with this reading.

FBI has just announced that will not recommend charges against Clinton and director added that it is unlikely that prosecutors will pursue this as a criminal case.
