I had a particularly bad fall put with someone I care about a lot. No matter how I try to find resolution they don't hear me.
I finally had enough and without a word I just walked away from the conflict- I know they're confused but they just don't hear me so I just had to walk.
Where to from here with our relationship

Looks like to me that the issue between us has gone as far as it can go, Hex 63 and nothing much can be done at this time until my friend sees there is another way to look at things.

Sorry for you. I feel like hex 9 says change is not possible but for small exterior things. Maybe later = 63. As to not hearing you it is possible that the soft wind can transport your words and their meaning later.

I think it’s saying to leave things as the way are and not push the issue anymore. Line 2 is positive for recuperating and Line 6 seems like witnessing things as they are and leaving them be for now. This is just an opinion but I don’t know how truly final these answers necessarily ever are; I think they speak to the present and obviously you never know what might be possible in the future. As of now, it seems as though continuing to press on with them would just further dig the rut.

Definitely true. My own experience with 9.6 has been that it just turns into the same problem again, even if it wasn’t “the end”. It’s still worth considering if maybe it should be the end. The full moon illuminates.

This has come to pass. He's still not hearing me when I need him to so then I have to kinda make an issue out of it - so I've sent him a text making it VERY clear (I hope) about what I need him to Hear.

The challenge of self empowerment within relationships is definitely what this is about for me, my_key, maybe him too - spot on Thank you!!
I feel it's the right time too and it's inner change for both of us. It's the first time I've felt comfortable saying 'hey this is how I feel/see things' knowing that it is how others respond to it that will make or break it.

Thanks rosada - that's the plan but it takes two doesn't it - so far it's been working and I guess it takes more than one moment to change our patterns of behaviour.

You've said he's not hearing you. That sounds like a self-centered attitude from him. It's all about him isn't it - his deceased wife, his house that needs cleaning, his problems, and so on. What about you though? You also have problems, wants, needs, and preferences. You tried to put your foot down and make your voice be heard too - and it has resulted in you walking away. This will anger him. Self-centered people feel rage when others try to assert their individuality. He might not show his anger overtly. I believe he will continue the war for dominance over you.
