A bit confused how to read moving lines in context of hexagrams?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to work on a large, important (to me), writing project. Some days I find myself doubting myself a great deal (not unusual, I'm sure). So I thought I'd ask Yi what it is I feel badly about...I think it might just be insecurity in what I have to say. I got 31.3.4 > 8.

I thought that was interesting. I sort of read line 3 as how I end up feeling, blocked by 'shame', and I read line 4 as possibly meaning to get focused (stay focused) and keep going. So the lines feel like a pretty good mirror of where I get to in this process. But how should I relate them to the main hexagram of 31 and the relating of 8? (I get confused about this generally, like sometimes I get a reading where the main hexagrams seem very positive on both ends, but the moving lines difficult...and the situation itself is difficult...so I trust the moving lines as accurate mirrors of what is happening but unsure of how to take in the larger context of the hexagrams themselves)

Thanks for any thoughts!
Sophia
