A Career Question

Hi Again,

I have asked Yi today a question about my situation in my career.

I freelance.

I have recently been informed that there are 7 separate Jobs in the offing in my field for a production company I work for.

I asked Yi: How can I secure all seven jobs?
Yi's answer was: 63 unchanging

I also asked: If I ask point blank to give me all 7 jobs, how will he respond?
Yi's answer: 51.5 > 17

From what I understand, In 63 everything seems to be in place however any move made could topple it into disorder. However, to not make a move is equally as dangerous as, and i quote: "Such indifference is the root of all evil."

So... there is a call for caution. And precaution.But really... Ho do I apply this to the Question? The How do I?

With 51.5 17 I think I may shock the man a little with such forthrightness, as I am usually quite chilled in the way I deal with them (probably to my detriment imo). And therefore after the initial shock, mor shock, then a tad more for good measure. But all the while, if I stay at the center of the action NOTHING is lost!!! Could this be the way to go then? POINT BLANK!!!?

63 unchanging is after completion, it is referring to a cycle. If I got this hexagram, I would consider what loose ends may need to be tied up and what could be polished and finalised before taking on something new.
Maybe your thoughts on 'any move toppling things into disorder' relates to the taking on of new tasks i.e. there is more work to be done just when you have finished existing tasks?
63 also advises to use foresight. What potential problems could arise from taking on these 7 tasks and what precautions can you take with regard to these?

As for 51.5, maybe his response will shock you? My personal feeling from this is that he may question your ability to take on all 7 tasks and put you on the spot with questions or probe your ability in a way which leaves you a bit like a 'rabbit in headlights'. 51.5 advises to keep your cool and keep your mind on your intended goals and ambitions. Follow your intended route to the best of your ability.

Hi loulisnowdrop,

Yes you are right! I have a lot of work to finish up on before I can sail through 7 jobs. That said I could do the seven jobs anyway, but I would be somewhat knackered by the end of it! So, to do it comfortably would mean finishing off these half done projects, giving me the space to throw myself into others with ease. That way the 7 would be a doddle!

And its funny.... Instinctively, before even reading your reply, I was thinking, I must clear these works and make space! That's what I spent my day doing! Seems the way to go anyway with what I have planned... And from the point of view of sending out the right message to the universe and all... Its the only way to go!

So.....Thanks for the insight.... I'm always completely thrown by the myriad of different meanings these hexagrams can mean.

That does help a great deal!
