A connection worth pursuing?

Dear Clarity members,

I would appreciate any feedback you may have about this situation.

I have been sending/receiving messages from a guy on a dating site.
We seemed to have a lot in common and we arranged to meet.
He cancelled at the last moment and said a job had come up. We re-scheduled for today.
I turned up and then noticed he had sent me a text asking if we were still meeting,
which he sent last night but I only received it today. We texted. he said he thought I had changed my mind and now he was at his brother's. He said we could meet in the week and he would still look forward to meeting me.

I asked the I Ching what the potential was between us, because I was beginning to give up on him. I received hexagram 50 lines 1,3 and 6, chaning to 54. It seems to be hopeful and to suggest trying again to meet?

I think the Yi is talking on a larger scale than your personal inquiry. Nevertheless, the parable - seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all these other things shall be added unto you - can apply. Much in this life is built upon compromise, fact be told.
