From the look of your readings together I get the distinct impression that he is a more whimsical and perhaps flirtatious kind, while you are more brass tacks and bottom line oriented. From here it appears that your tendency toward regimentation may be holding up the works in the romance department. To have that kind of union requires a less structured approach, though at first you may feel awkward about letting go.
