Yesterday, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I feel that either the show will cease operations or find a new host. I asked, "What will happen to Trebek through this year?" 15.3 Integrity to 2 Earth. Line 3 says, "Toiling with integrity, A noble one completes it. Good fortune." Maybe he could survive throughout the year, beating cancer.

Morbid readings for $100.

'Toiling with integrity, A noble one completes it. Good fortune' with Earth as the relating hexagram. It might mean he'll die, although your take is nicer of course. (I have no idea how treatable pancreatic cancer is, and isn't he in his 80s... well okay Wikipedia informs us he's a bit younger, 78.)

Smooshing around the parts of the reading: "Toiling with integrity and the strength of a mare, the noble one completes it (meaning successfully completes treatment)" - ?

Interesting reading and result. Cynic that I am, I would have seen "noble one completes it" and 2. Earth as meaning he would quietly complete his earthly sojourn. I'll give more weight to the phrase "Good fortune" now.

That's exactly what I thought, too! I decided the part I missed was "toiling with integrity." And "good fortune."
