One of my many groups of friends I associate with always seems to have something negative to say when I ask them a question or share something about a friendship or personal relationship, seeing the signs that are there as negative even when I think they appear to be positive

Why does x group always seem to see the worst possible outcome when I ask of something of them? 36.3.4>51

"Why does x group always seem to see the worst possible outcome when I ask something of them?"

36.3.4 to 51 ~ "They are dark (.3) because they like it (.4) that way!"

We humans tend to project our inner world onto the outer world at large ~ so, a dark mind sees a dark world, wherever it looks.

This hexagram suggests that the morbidity of form ~ all forms are impermanent ~ is shading or dimming the brilliant light of the spirit inside.

So, these folks are like people lost in a coal mine ~ with access to a lamp ~ but, but, but...they're insisting on wearing sunglasses...
