So I ask "What will it be to apply for XY?"

and I got:

The lake submerges the tree: Great Exceeding.
A noble one stands alone without fear,
Withdraws from the time without sadness.'

Sequence

Great Exceeding follows from Hexagram 27, Nourishment:
'With no nurturance, it is not possible to act, and so Great Exceeding follows.'

Changing Lines

Line 2

'Withered willow sprouts a shoot,
Venerable man gets a young wife.
Nothing that does not bear fruit.'

Changing to Hex 31, Influence

Any comments from your perspective?

Sounds like it would be worth doing. I suppose it might depend on what it is and what you need/ expect/ hope for from it. A withered willow sprouting a shoot isn't the same as a young willow sprouting a shoot. Still, I think the reading's nice and encouraging.

Never mind my withered willow / young willow comparison. There is no young willow in 28, don't know what I was thinking about.

A better comparison is "sprout" in line 2 vs. "flowers" in line 5. Flowers are of course lovely and worthwhile, but a sprout is longer-lasting and means actual growth is going on. Hilary uses the phrase "new lease on life" in her book.
