While watching the procession of dignitaries marching down the streets of London I asked the I Ching for a comment. I thought this answer - Treading on The Tail of The Tiger changing to Following - particularly appropriate!

10. Treading on The Tiger’s Tail - Quite the procession!
Image: The King sets right the purpose of the ordinary people.
King as role model. Like a tiger followed by the cubs.

10.2 He treads the path smoothly and easily because a hermit - a king - is not bothered by social standards. He acts from his own connection with spirit. (Commentators have mentioned how Charles’ seriousness of attitude when he recited his oaths reflected how sincerely he takes his spiritual role.)

10.6 Observing the footsteps, blessings from the ancestors,. They come full circle: good fortune from the source. (A proper sense of history with the intention for changing what didn’t work and keeping what does.)

And after an exhausting day…

17. At nightfall the king goes inside for renewal and rest.
