Asking for a raise

I recently asked Yi about bringing up a raise with my boss. The response I got was 33 changing to 49. I usually see 33 as a "not yet" sign, but 49 has me pretty puzzled. It kind of feels like Yi is telling me to be patient and wait for the right moment, but I'm not entirely sure what it means.

I think the I Ching is telling you to be of the mind set that the creditors are nipping at your heels (33.1) and no hard feelings but without a raise you simply can’t work there any longer (33.6). If you believe it, they’ll believe it (49)!
