Hello all, I am new here and always fascinated with the book since childhood. I need some help with a reading.
I made a huge career move but this means relocating to a different country without my family, leaving my kid and partner (hopefully temporarily) behind. I am scare my partner will not want to move and that everything will go in shatters.
I cried myself to sleep yesterday and this morning i got 2.2.5>29
I read it as go with the flow and to trust him and myself but still cannot fully understand it. 29 looks bad…
Thank you for your help!

I would interpret it the same way, only I wouldn't see H29 as bad. The Judgment text says, "If you are truthful and sincere, And follow your heart,Then you will have success,And your actions will bring esteem." This can apply to both of you.
H29 is trigram Water doubled, so you could see this as that there is movement both in the inner world and in actions, it is going along with what the situation demands at that moment.

As always, take what resonates and leave the rest ;)

Top of the evening to everyone!

I want to share a few insights I have regarding the 29th hexagram.

When you encounter the 30th hexagram, it signifies clarity and understanding. In contrast, the 29th hexagram implies a lack of clarity, often due to excessive emotionalism, leading to potential dangers through recklessness and deceit.

The judgment of this hexagram, The Abysmal repeated, suggests that sincerity is key for success. When this hexagram appears, there tends to be a tendency towards insincerity. Emotional influences may drive the individual to be less than truthful, seeking to avoid embarrassment or negative consequences. However, the oracle advises against this approach, warning that small lies can further complicate matters. It indicates a situation where one's vision is limited, focused only on the immediate steps ahead and not considering the larger picture. Attempting to manipulate the situation instead of acknowledging one's mistake only leads to more entanglements.

In contrast, if there is clarity, represented by the illumination of light shining down the entire path, it becomes evident that attempting to deceive or manipulate will be futile. It is best to be sincere and speak the truth, as the limited perspective hinders one's ability to successfully navigate through deceit. Acknowledge the mistake without trying to manipulate or lie, as the available light and insight are insufficient for such tricks.

I hope this helps.

I see 2.2.5 - 29 as emphasizing to you that you are in a sea of unknowns.
2.2 seems to say, “Here’s the situation, he’s there I’m here>”
2.5 seems to say, “But what about the inner connection? Will our bond survive this physical separation?”
Then…
29. Floating in The Sea of Unknowns.
When I look at the two trigrams for 29 they appear to be like stepping stones through a swamp with lots of dark murky water between each solid stone. However, eventually staying calm and staying focused leads from 29. Darkness to 30. Light. That is, with experience comes confidence/light and ultimately the dark sea no longer seem so hazardous.

I see this hexagram as indicating there are a lot of issues to be resolved to secure a continuing strong link between you and that you need not be afraid to address them.
