Big Work Environment Changes soon - leave or stay? 42.1 - 20 and 32.3.4.6 to 4

Last week the owner of the company I work for told some of us privately that she had a buyer for the company and that most likely major changes are going to happen within a month or two. I've had thoughts for a while about leaving but unsure if it's intuition or my ego. I asked first - What kind of future if I leave? and received 42.1 - 20 which gave me a sense that leaving might be a good idea. But then I asked what kind of future if I don't leave and received 32.3.4.6 to 4 which has me all confused and/or worried.

My interpretation is that change would be good but that this is not the right time or I'm not in the right way to know or decide how to make the change so I should stay put.

I am not sure why you are confused? You asked two questions, one about what would happen if you left - received a good reading - and one about what would happen if you stayed - received a less good reading. Seems pretty clear. 42.1 is a lovely line and it talks about having the support from above to achieve what you want to achieve. I think that's a very good line for a new endeavor such as looking for a new job.

The lines you got in 32 are two lines talking about confusion and indecision sandwiching a line about basically barking up the wrong tree. So if I understand the questions you asked correctly, then the second reading is about what would happen if you stayed. I think it's most likely saying that would be a bad idea.

Leaving a job is a big step, obviously, but I think the I Ching is telling you it would be better to take it.
