Dear All

I am actually asking on behalf for my friend. She would like to look for some business opportunity in the children toy industry. Thus, she hopes to find a good supplier for her new business and there is currently one supplier on her mind.

Therefore, she casted the Yi on how successful will her toy business with her current toy supplier? The result: HEX 32 with changing Line 3 to HEX 40.

Appreciate for some insightful advices.:bows:

Cheers!

She will have to keep going, Enduring disgrace and humiliation, before there is an Release, or a loosening the knot of the relationship.

If I received this, I would not go ahead with the deal.

Often times in the I Ching, we must determine "who is being spoken to. Does it directly answer the question or does it relate to the mindset of the person? Here I think the answer refers more to the mindset of the person asking than it does of the outcome. It appears to me the problem is not so much with the business that supplies, as it is the person asking about the supplier. The line says, "If a person remains at the mercy of moods of hope or fear aroused by the outside world..." And finally, "but logical consequences evoked by one's own nature." Ironically, these lines can relate both to the supplier and to the querent, and that is why the I Ching, (and all divination practices) can be so hard to understand so often, and therefore a reading can be literally true and yet incorrect. My feeling is the person needs to look within and see what fears they have about a supplier, rather than the supplier itself. But once again, it all depends on where the focus is in this particular reading.
