Business relocation 28.5>32

Hi everyone,

We've had some issues with our landlady over the past week, so I asked if it would be in our best interests to relocate our business to a new premises. The answer I received was 28.5>32

I've been trying to interpret this in relation to my question, but I'm still not sure what it means. Any thoughts you have will be gratefully received.

Line 28.5 suggests that no it would not be in your best interests to relocate, and therefore with this in mind, you need to actually stay put and sort out your "issues" with the landlady. Be realistic about your situation as running off will not help, but further negotiations will.

Hex 32 says that you should continue to stay where you are.

Thanks alot for your quick reply willowfox. I think my partner and I need a voice of reason as we are both a bit fired up at the moment. That's also why I wanted to ask the Yi as I didn't want to make any rash decisions whilst we were feeling backed into a corner.

The main "issue" regards what we feel to be an unreasonably high rent increase, especially in the current climate. We accepted that a rent increase was fair, but negotiated with her to lower it substantially. She didn't accept our offer, but has conceded that her initial proposal was quite high and has dropped from her original figure. Perhaps, like you say, further negotiations will help to resolve this.
