Hello-

Briefly, I have known someone for about a year- Nothing came of things before but a good connection, flirting, etc. Recently we saw one another and things finally kissed for the first time- I have a great time with this person, and usually wouldnt mind calling a guy ( as a woman) but- I dont want to push things and asked the i ching- what do you suggest as a present action here? and received 2 changing ( 1,5) to hex 3. It seems pretty straightforward-
My i ching labels 3 as " difficulty at the beginning" or someone who will give me a good deal of trouble- Do I have that correctly?
Any insight would be great- thanks

Be receptive to him as the relationship moves into its beginning stage. Yes, the beginning stage has difficulty, but there's no idea of a force or a person giving you 'a great deal of trouble'. It's like a young plant establishing itself or an infant - things are precarious for the very young and every impact is a big one. Don't expect a fully formed, reliable relationship right from the beginning. Getting to know one another is both exciting and bumpy sometimes.

By the way, I love 'things finally kissed for the first time'. Poetry.

"what do you suggest as a present action here? and received 2 changing ( 1,5) to hex 3."

Let things progress naturally, don't try and force the issue, in any new beginning you are bound to have some growing pains, so accept them and let nature take its course.
