Hi,
I am new to the forum and I have received many helpful and often concrete advices from I ching in the past.

Now, however I do not know how to interprete the response.
There has been a terrible mistake happened and I asked iching last November, whether one can still change it and I got 14 unchanged. At that time I interpreted it as a positive response, however did not know what to do or what to expect.

Now I asked again, whether I can change it and recieved the same, 14 unchanged.

My question is, whether it means I should continue what I am doing and I get help from the Universe or actually the contrary?

I would be very greatful for any comments, help with the interpretation.

Many thanks

Omnia

Can I correct a mistake?
14 unchanging

Welcome to Clarity, Omnia. Some mistakes are best buried and forgotten -- left to the universe. Trying to correct them may do more harm than the original mistake. But if the mistake is still causing injury, then best to actively correct it. Hexagram 14 suggest wealth, that is, money and payment. If another has been harmed by the mistake, you could offer compensation or simply be kinder and more forgiving to the other person as a way to atone for the mistake. If the harm was to yourself, forgive yourself. The best way to correct a mistake is not to make it again.

Thank you Pocossin for the kind welcome and for the response. I understand that the circumstances would be important in the case.

It was not my mistake, but somebody very close to me had an impossible accident and there is only a low probability that he would regain consciousness ever again.

I am asking my spiritual helpers and my loved ones in the spirit world to help to correct this mistake, because I can not imagine losing him.

That is why the wealth, or reference to posession suggested by the hexagram confused me. I hope it has a positive message.

Thinking materially, have the person's worldly affairs been put in order? Possessions identified and protected? Accounts notified? These are positive things to do, and if they have not been done, you might feel better if you did them.

Your question is confusing.
Your initial question is "Can I correct a mistake?".
But then you said, "It was not my mistake, but somebody very close to me had an impossible accident".

I guess what you are actually asking is, "how can I help"?

I can think of 4 possibilities here, either one of them, or all together.

One is what pocossin said, have the person's material affairs put in order.
Second could be, a female doctor could help out greatly.
Third could be, be loving.
Fourth, spend some of your money to get better hospital care for them.

Best wishes to your friend!

Many thanks to both of you for the advice.
The material, financial parts had been clarified and he is getting the maximum based on the current status of medical knowledge.
It seems that I can only pray and hope.
