As the next portion of my writings will be about a transposition from chinese to Pinyin, to allow each one to interprete according to a particular vocabulary and background, it seems important to situate the canonical text.

Canonical text is the usual term used to designate the most ancient part of the Yi Jing, the Judgement and the texts associated to each of the six levels of the sixty-four hexagrams. A complete version of the Yi therefore comprises the Canonical text and Canonical Commentaries.
