Focus; Dynamic; Creative; Origin; Spirit; Persisting; The Creative Universe/Intelligence ....


A few translations I like:

* Supreme offering. Favorable augury (omen, divination, direction).

* Focus: Greatly accepted offering. Favorable to divine.

* Creating (The Creative): The greatest fulfillment rewards persistence.​

These are all good, auspicious, creative responses from the Yi. A few ways I can see interpreting them:

* You are on a good, creative, favorable life path. And maybe - if this feels right, keep doing what you're doing.

* This can serve as inspiration, guidance, or even a course correction for your life path.

* Setting goals and knowing which direction you want to go in is a good start to your life path ....​

You may be questing for your hexagram 2 to make real, tangible, manifest all that drive and creativity.

If a woman got hexagram 2 about her life path it would seem quite easy and natural for her to embody the Receptive.

Likewise if a man got hexagram 1 it would seem natural and easy for him to become himself the Creative.

That's a terrible generalisation but I'm just trying to put across the idea or impression of having life path pure 2 or pure 1.

(Side note
I'm not sure how much credibility I give to life paths. I think the idea of life paths makes many people feel inadequate or even stressed (if they believe in them) since they don't appear to have a defined one. Or they think they should have one whereas instead of some grand plan as described in the books they just get on with whatever's next and bumble along like most of us do. I only say this to qualify the above interpretation - it's just impressions)


My impression was as you got quite a dynamic WoW kind of answer Yi was telling you you're with the Creative force in life, you are part of that. There may not be a narrow pathway there, you may more likely be swept up in it's direction. And hexagram 1 is full of purpose and intelligence, the intelligence of a greater design in our lives beyond our knowing. So it's a fabulous answer enjoy it.


For inspiration on the Creative in your life path study the sky more. No one can dig it out and build on it, it's vast and ever moving and it gives us all we need on earth. It's there to look at and identify with it's amazing grandeur.

Do you have a lot of very strong desires and passions and ideas that seem challenging to action because they’re so big? I think this says there’s tons of creative potential and energy inside, also that where you put your focus and how you use your energy will be very important and kind of make or break the goals. Become process-oriented so the energy has somewhere to go. “Potential energy” essentially. Or maybe you’re a dancer or a channeler or someone who works directly with energy? Yes I know it's a different thread, that's the point. You never came back here to thank anyone or to tell us what you thought of replies or to update us on what you yourself made of the reading.

There is an expectation that people return to their threads for some kind of feedback/update otherwise it is rude and unhelpful.
Well it seems rude if you just walk off and start new threads.
