Confused about the reading: 24.1.6>23

Can someone please help with the interpretation? I was given a lot of extra responsibility (and work) recently, I haven't been given any pay rise assuming it came with the appointment - but it didn't. My colleague advises to ask for an increase in pay, so I asked I Ching "how best to proceed"? The answer was 24.1.6>23, i'm not even able to come up with any interpretation, can someone help please?

THE LINES
The first line, undivided, shows its subject returning from an error of no great extent, which would not proceed to anything requiring repentance. There will be great good fortune.
The topmost line, divided, shows its subject all astray on the subject of returning. There will be evil. There will be calamities and errors. If with his views he put the hosts in motion, the end will be a great defeat, whose issues will extend to the ruler of the state. Even in ten years he will be not be able to repair the disaster.

Found another interpretation:

Line 1: follow your own insight and not just blindly follow others
Line 6: you missed your chance, learn from your mistakes

I guess this means to be satisfied with what I already have, at least for now.

I think so, some reason the timing doesnt look good, I am in a 23 phase at the moment, its making me think 23 has to do with timing, 23 i believe is separate yourself from this idea for now. I think the lines reinforce this.
