Hi all
I asked I ching "what if I stay with S" and was answered with 46 changing to 30

And what if I don't stay with S"
Answered with 28 to 56...

Now this relationship although it had some good points was really tough and negative in a lot of ways...I asked I ching a while ago "what can I expect if I stay with S and the answer 28 to 39 seemed right..it was going to collapse and so I broke it off..now I'm doubting my decision because I miss him a little...

Can someone please help me translate

A possible interpretation is this:

Cheating (line 1) would (or will) be noticed (line 2), a relationship of trust (line 4) won't be possible (line 6).

46 - Formation

One is guided until they reach knowledge.

1 - One is going to seek elsewhere.

2 - If one makes a gesture, it will be noticed.

4 - One wants to organize themself to build a relationship of trust.

6 - One has to return because nothing will be found.

Basically you will be single (28) and you will have to search for a partner (56)

My idea for line 2 is that the weakest are the friends you have abandoned.

Line 6 seems to be self-explanatory.

Line requires some follow-up questions in my opinion. But while you are at it you can also ask for line 2. So:

a) Who are the weakest?
b) Who/what is innovation (youth)?
c) Who/what is immediate benefht (seniority)?
d) What future is going to be compromised?

28 - Abandonment

One goes on their own if necessary. Stick to the essential.

2 - When one runs into difficulties, they welcome the weakest to preserve their future.

5 - Abandoning youth, innovation, to favor seniority, immediate benefit: it is jeopardizing one's future.

6 - One wants to continue alone because of the weakness of their neighborhood.

One restores order to find.

From single (28) you will run into uncertainties (39)

line 2: the weakest is S apparently, but you can still ask the follow-up question (Who/what are the weakest?)

line 4 you will have to repair

39 shows that you might be able to solve your problems with S if you do your best.

28 - Abandonment

One goes on their own if necessary. Stick to the essential.

4 - One is supported by others but needs to recover.

Solving a difficulty requires a patient study. If one fails, they will receive help after showing that they have done their best.

Just because she doesn't respond to your request doesn't mean she is incapable.
You see something that is not there, it may be a pattern.
I would ignore you myself, except I care about the people you may confuse.

Yes, it is for you to explain your own interpretations and how they relate to Yi. You could start by explaining how 46.1 has anything to do with cheating.

Can you explain that in any way at all ? You do need to if you claim you are here to do I Ching readings. If you are not using the I Ching it needs to be stated in your signature. If you won't change your signature the situation is that if I feel someone may be misled I will simply tell them you are not using the I Ching. That's all.

So it is up to you really either to explain your readings, change your signature or accept that it may be pointed out sometimes that you are not using the I Ching in your interpretations.

Take your time, if you can't do it today, then you'll do it tomorrow. I can even wait 10 years if you want. With a little bit of luck you will stumble upon one of the lines that I didn't fix with the Yi already. But if you wait too much that won't even happen.

In the meantime I'll continue to demonstrate the efficiency of these comments on this forum.

And for someone who has work to do I find that you invest a lot of efforts into attacking these comments rather of simply studying them.

Your efforts are futile, you should do something useful and find their flaws, at least if you find one that will help me improving them, I can make interpretation errors as I already said, and maybe there are things to fix.
