confusing hexagram 51.6 about the relationship

I decided to ask I-Ching about this guy, whom I know for quite a while. We have had on and off going thing. And now it's on again. I asked "what does he think about me?" And got 5.6 changing to 21. I have to say, we have been through a lot together, tried to date. But now we just meet casually, so I definitely don't have any illusions about our relations. But still I feel puzzled, because I am attracted to him. Is it a shock for him that I came back to him? But what does hexagram 21 mean. Please help me to interpret it, I have got here some precious advices before.

Actually, now I understand more about him, and accept him the way he is. It took me 3 years to understand him. But last year we had a fight and and didn't talk for more than a year. Do you think I Ching means it was a shock for him that I agreed to see him again? Or the fact that I am more laidback and don't expect him to be what he is not? He has noticed that change in me and said that he likes it. I do suspect he might have a girlfriend, but we don't talk about it. Is the meaning of the hexagram 51 with line 6 is a negative one in my case?
