Consequences of using a dating site; 12.5 to 35

Hello everyone, I just asked Yi:

"What are the consequences of me going on OkC again?"

I received hexagram 12.5, changing to 35, advancing.

'Resting when blocked.
Great person, good fortune.
It is lost, it is lost!

Now I am caught between 2 possible interpretations. either it is implying I better rest a while longer before I jump back into dating (or in this case, online dating), or it is stating that the consequences of going back on this site will help me advance out of stagnation, but I should remain strong, & cautious.

My love life has truly stagnated. At age 25, I last went on a date (through this site) 4 months ago. & that had been the 1st in a year. I've learned how to use this site better since I first tried it, & I believe dating again could help me grow,as well as test myself on things I've been working on, such as recognizing my worth.

Does anyone have thoughts on this reading? I appreciate your time. I'm trying to not waste mine, either on this dating site or sitting around feeling sorry for myself without making any efforts to meet a romantic partner.

I admire your positive attitude about it all. I am in a similar place. My husband died 2.5 years ago. I have done some internet dating and seeing a long distance person some. I have contemplated going back to internet dating. I really like what you said about it.

I try not to ask the I Ching for predictions or consequences. It gets tricky that way understanding the answer. I try to focus on guidance about the best approach or clarity on a situation. It may be a subtle difference, but it helps me interpret more clearly.

Thank you Maggie. I am sorry to hear about your loss, but it is good to move forward. I'm going to ask a follow up question to gain more clarity on the situation, but usually when I ask the Yi about consequences I feel very clear on the answers. The temptation is then maybe to ask too many questions on diffferent choices I will update this after I gain some more clarity, as well as about how going back on the site worked out for me!
