My coworker left the company after 20+ years without notice going on medical leave for 30 days. She never told anyone and now all her work falls on me and my team’s shoulders. Apparently, the CEO is relying on me to figure out stuff and communicate it to people. I knew she was fed up of working there due to poor leadership (CEO) but didn’t think she’d leave like this. I spoke to her over the phone and she did not seem to care about her work, impact, and made no indication of returning. This has created a lot of uncertainty and I'm not sure I will be able to keep up.

What does my coworker leaving mean for me? Hexagram 64.3.4.6 > Hexagram 46
Think this is saying don’t force things or try to achieve things by yourself (line 3), however, preserve to rise above
.

How should I proceed in regard to applying for other jobs? Hexagram 7.5 > 29
I think this is saying do not do anything impulsive or action could result in misfortune (29). From a previous post, I thought another job opportunity was around the corner, but given the economic climate, I figured that chance disappeared or perhaps I overlooked it. My goal was to land an internship or flexible opportunity that would allow me to continue my studies and grow my experience in a different role, but I suppose I should just be grateful for what I have now in these challenging times.

What should I expect in regards to career changes within the next few months? Hexagram 37.5.6 > 36
Stop worrying (line 5), but something about maybe a clouded perception (36), not having a clear vision of where to go/what the role actually entails.
