Did you hear Da Liu Ren ?

Da Liu Ren originated from I Ching about 2000 years ago.
In ancient china, it was a secritive skill just controlled by governer's family a kind of like Tai Yi and Dun Jia.

For example ,today there was a negotiattion with a elementary school principal ,about whether our fellows quit from his school.because they are volenteer serving that school but right now school part don't want to give them enough classes to teach.so the fellows decided to nagotiate with principal.if success, they will get more classes, they will stay .if not, they will apply for transfer to another school or quit programme.
before the school final dicision came out.i made a divination using Da Liu Ren.
haven plate ,earth plate ,si ke and san chuan as below

san chuan is Zi (子),Shen(申)and Chen(辰),namely 申子辰,it's a water group in Da Liu Ren. the term Group is a signal of cooperation and getting together. it's just one thread of many information.

What kind of system is your favorite?

I divine by the hexagrams of King Wen and the style of the querent. I use the meanings of King Wen's hexagrams as I deduced them from the King Wen sequence. Every hexagram pictures something, the gua xiang. When the hexagrams are thoroughly studied, the overall pattern of the sequence and the Wen meaning of each hexagram becomes apparent just as the properties of an element can be deduced by knowing its place in the periodic table. The Wen meanings are radically different from the text added by the Duke of Zhou. For example, in terms of King Wen's sequence, hexagram 44 relates to the inscribing of a plastron.

The relation between style and divination depends on two principles: 1. Style (spirit) is character. 2. Character is fate. Here are two examples that I hope will explain these difficult ideas:

Is it true that you can tell a woman's relationship with her husband by looking in her refrigerator?

How come everyone in the world heard me make this statement? But all said in jest -- or parable -- has fate, so here goes . . .

I'm a firm believer in a principle called carryover. In plainer words, the personal characteristics you exhibit in any situation are essentially the same ones you show in other, totally unrelated situations. A person who's sloppy in appearance will generally be sloppy in speech, promise-keeping, and gardening. If you are an aggressive competitor on the tennis court, you generally will be that way in PTA meetings, fruit canning, and style of dress.

Your refrigerator is probably the most personal of all your furniture and appliances -- behind its door (and often in front of it!) is a composite picture of your organization, judgment, decisions, hopes, failures, and successes. It's not open to the world (Remember how upset you are when anyone outside the family looks in your fridge?) but you can tell a lot by taking a hard look in it.

Are you the type who lets the refrigerator go and go and go, cramming in more amid more and finally going to two-story stacking, ignoring spills and vegetables that have shrivelled beyond identification -- then suddenly in a dedicated attack of repentance you wip into it, leaving it gleaming and immaculate? You are probably also letting marriage or living strains and irritation go, go, go, until they are intolerable -- then in a big weeping, soul-cleansing trauma, you sweep your cowering family into a confrontation, followed by a tearful kissy-pie all-is-well. But then you start stacking the fridge again, putting lids on the problems that you'd rather delay making decisions on. You do this until the fridge (or family situation) stinks and is ready to explode -- and then you dive in again and make peace, love, apologies, promises, etc.

Those who keep their refrigerators bare (I mean not a morsel to snack on -- not a saucer of cold peaches or a peeled boiled egg in there) often have empty, cold relationships with family and associates.

The person who can't manage to put a lid on a smelly container in the refrigerator probably can't keep the lid on a neighborhood secret.

If you have disguised or hidden "no-nos" (fattening chocolates) stashed in secret places in your fridge, you'll probably have other hidden things (gifts, rash purchases, damaged things, spare money) the rest of the family doesn't know about.

If a fridge is dominated by processed foodstuffs, it generally signifies the time the family spends together is limited.

If the fridge is dominated by the husband's "habit" residue (liquor, fish bait, film), that generally means the woman of the house is far from liberated (equal).

Before any of you gentlemen and children sit back and feel too smug, the same diagnoses can be made from a man's toolbox, a kid's locker at school, scout knapsacks, etc.
-- Don Aslett, "Do I Dust or Vacuum First," pp 134 - 5.

I once had a friend who did readings at psychic fairs. She would tell people about themselves based on what they had on their key rings. If their keys were all facing the same direction (orderly life) or strung on every which way (confused life) and then she would note what sort of charm they carried. It was uncanny how significant the charm turned out to be, even to the untrained eye. For example I remember one lady who was morbidly obese who had more charm's than keys. Another who's issue was a chronic lack of funds had a tiny coin purse for her charm, but she never put any money in it, thus her archetypal purse was always empty! -- Rosada

Had I been asked to divine for the fellows at school, I would want them to present me with a casting because it is important that querents participate in the process of divination. Next, I would consider the spirit in which they approach their difficulty. What is their style? If there was a spirit of cooperation, then that spirit would carry over into their negotiations. I would then interpret the hexagram in terms of the spirit they disclosed. That is how I divine, and even with my limitations I am satisfied with results.

Divinatory Mechanisms

Hi everyone. Just wanted to start off with a warm introduction and best wishes to everyone in their journey full of clarity! Planetary rays,IMF,solar flares, Unified field, chi, full validity of the most ancient sciences including "divination" in the context and use as understood by the sages and scholars that propagated and propounded these systems. That's a brief synopsis of myself! Looking forward to interacting with you.

There are constant forces that govern existence. Divination is not just a this or that or when I want to do it this way or that. We are measuring the quantities and qualities of forces being exerted or restrained at any given time through the use of tools and systems that have survived thousands of years not because of their novelty or inferiority. YiJing, Six yao, Wen Wang Gua, Qi Men, Liu Ren and the others are sciences that enabled rulers to succeed in battle, govern the populace, and maintain balance not for 700 hundred years of history, but for thousands of years. These tools defy conventional western logic. They are meant to give insight into phenomena from the perspective of energy which cannot be observed by the 5 senses or grasped by mental faculties. This my friends is the key.

Hi all,

I'm from Hong Kong and have had the opportunity to study Great Six Ren (Da Liu Ren) under Master Ma Zi Xuan. This technique is quite unlike other predictions in that it utilises yin-yang principles, the five elements, and other advanced Chinese metaphysics techniques. It is no exaggeration to call this technique the pinnacle of Chinese metaphysics.

Come to Xun Elements and have a look!

www.xunelements.com

The inferences that can be drawn from Great Six Ren is in accordance with the Taoists “Tai Chi leads to two forms, two forms lead to four images and four images lead to eight diagrams”. It takes the Heaven( Heaven Dish), Earth( Earth dish), Sun( solar antiquation), Moon, the lunar mission, the time (year, month, date, and ocassion) as the operating basis with a complete set of models, which comprises all time-space relationships in the Universe. Nature in the eyes of the learned Chinese is a set of constantly evolving yet balanced contradictions. This is what we mean as the highest level “ unity of heaven and men”.

The calculations of Six Ren are difficult to most people because of the comprehensive three-dimensional models that involve time and space. If we calculate carefully, there are 60 (Sexagenary cycle) *12(branches) =720, the 12 gods (an important component of Great Six Ren), the 12 generals (another esoteric components of the system) , Yin and Yang, Earthly branches and their reversals, and we are in the region of:

720*2(Yin and Yang)*12(12 noblemen)* 12(12 generals)* 122(Earthly branches and their reversals) =29859840 kinds of variations and nearly 30 thousand of information units.

It is quite an interesting technique and I consider it my personal mission to let others know about it.

Do come explore! Thanks.

Xun

Hello friend:
Da liu ren is a very very difficult method to learn. For example, "si ke san chuan" is just a method to generate a hexagram in Da liu ren, just like we generate a hexagram with coins. But what is the most difficult is how to read information from the hexagram. I have made many research on Da liu ren when I study I Ching, it is really difficult to use it well.

Hi,

I haven't been around for some time, because my work took all my time. I would like to add here some information.

Liuren in not one of three but one of two ancient divination methods - the official ones. There was no Qimendunjia at the time. The third one was called Leigong - the Thunder Palace. QMDJ only came later to replace Leigong.

Liuren was based on real astronomy and the Liuren shipans (precursors of Luopan) were tools to find out the real location of xiu etc. I made a Liuren shipan for myself. It is a great tool!

There have been a couple of "courses" offered in English about Liuren, but there is only one at the moment (online), which teaches the actual divination method.

I know nothing about Da Liu Ren aside from its name and the fact that it is an ancient and revered form of divination. But I wonder if anyone has read "Chinese Mathematical Astrology," by Ho Yeng Poke? It's a pricey tome and too advanced for me, so it's on my list to purchase when I'm further along in my studies. From what I understand, the book covers the 3 arts of Taiyi, Dunjia and Liuren as well as some more commonly used forms of Chinese astrology such as Bazi and Zi Wei Dou Shu. I hope it will be cheaper by the time I'm ready for it. But to my knowledge, this is the one English book that covers these topics. Until it has some competition, it's likely to stay as expensive as it is!
