Did I have a near death experience when I was a child?

Hi,

Some information has come up that would suggest that I had a near death experience when I was a child. I recall bits and pieces but I wanted to see if the Yi Ching would provide a more definitive conclusion. I may be reading into it but I think it has. I wanted to post my conclusions and see if anyone would be willing comment.

I asked, “Did I have a near death experience when I was a child?” I received 24.1 to 2.
The first paragraph seemed to suggest an exit and then a coming back. The first words were. “Returning/Coming Back/Recovery”. There was a “recovery” so it wasn’t death. If I am returning than I did go somewhere to return from. The line seems to indicate “an error of no great extent” so the death wasn’t final. “Friends come to him”, as is the case with most near-death experiences.

If anyone has anything to add I would appreciate comments.

In my opinion there is also another way of looking at it.

24.1 could mean you went into a wrong direction with your thinking. You are not sure whether it happened or not, so no harm is done, you can return.

Hex. 2 could be interpreted as not following this line of thought, but go with the flow.

Hex. 2 Legge: The Magnetic means success through the docility of a mare. If the superior man takes the initiative, he goes astray, but if he follows, he finds his proper lord.

What the answer will be for you depends on some soul searching I think (why do I want an answer? what does it mean to me if the answer is yes or no, etc.) and what resonates with you.

I see 24.1 as describing a near death experience. "Not far away" could be another way of saying "Near" and of course "Returning" could be referring to you coming back to life. I can also see 2. Earth as representing the grave. So yeah, I think this response confirms you did get near the grave but happily, "no regrets", you Returned.

Many people believe that sleep is like a death so perhaps we all regularly have near death experiences.

Thank you rosada. I have enjoyed your insightful comments over the years that I have been consulting this site. I am pleased and comforted that your reading is the same as mine because I needed conformation from another soul. I have found that Yi Ching provides more accurate readings for question that are inquired of my psyche rather than peering into the minds of others although I have done both. The response I had from the Yi Ching was so clear that I was surprised, I thought that perhaps I was missing something that would have been more obvious to others. Thank you again!
