It's been since ages, it's a heavy one, abuse, a lot of negativity and all in all something very difficult i am dealing with for decades now.

I asked how can i calm down after yet another attack BEFORE an event that's very important for me; the person in question has psychopathic tendencies and basically finds pleasure in disturbing and upsetting others, yet it's someone from my immediate family so i can't simply close the door behind... long story. I am upset right now, i asked for guidance on how to restore my inner peace and got 13.4.6. to 63

I think 13th hexagram - and moving lines in particular- describe my situation pretty well, if i get it right i should strengthen my personal boundaries; the related hexagram i don't really get here... except that it warns me to be super -cautious? Anyhow, as i pondered over the hexagrams, i did calm down quite a bit... which was the main reason i reached for the Yi in the first place. If you find something to add, it will be most appreciated. :bows:

hello littlebudha

what springs to mind immediately about your 63 is that it often describes a state of affairs that needs to be regularly checked, so its balance stays in place - things seem to have a natural tendency towards escaping order time and again . .
Keeping your distance at all times could be another way to read your answer; both 4th and 6th line work that theme and even when contact is made, in line 6, it is of the typical, passing kind that one has in yearly holidays, celebrations and such

wishing you good luck with it, it sounds like a tough situation to be in :(

Yes, definitely, i also got it it's the only way to go - to reduce the communication to the minimum and to shut myself off - at least emotionally, if it can't be done physically :((((
