Hello I just wondered what people think of the various online I Ching divination sites out there? Some seem much more sophisticated than others- some charge others do not. Anyone got those they'd avoid and/or recommend?

Is it generally better to cast a hexagram oneself in person?

Also when I use various different versions of I Ching interpretations I notice some hexagrams have wildy different interpretations made of them by different authors/sources. I Use Stephen Karcher's relationship I Ching, for those types of questions.. but also pay online for readings through Jonathan Cainer on occassion... both these sources seem to concur on hexagram readings.I use LiSe Yi Jing site too... and wengu-tartarie...both useful if rather more poetic. Other more traditional, literal translations (Wilhelm) seem very patriarchal in their interpretations of certain hexagrams associated with female power/ sexuality- 44 and 54 in particular. How can the more contemporary interpretations of these hexagrams justify being so different in nuance and meaning?

Any views expressed gratefully received. I have been using the I Ching a long time and have never had the opportunity to discuss these issues before.:bows:
