... asked Yi if I had COVID19 Delta variant? Yi gave uc30 .... which seems to clearly indicate that my suspicions are very correct.
I've got a COVID test done yesterday ~ from two places, actually. First only did COVID tests, and the second did a bacterial and viral swab, as well as telling that the viral swap also covered COVID.Can you not get tested ? That would be better than guessing through the I Ching. I mean are you going to actually believe you have Covid without a test ? Whatever anyone says about the reading the only way you are going to know if you have Covid is through a test which here in UK are widely available.
I don't think a sore throat is particularly a Covid symptom is it ? You are going to need to isolate if positive obviously and you surely won't be isolating on the basis of 30uc so a test is your only way forward isn't it ?
As an aside, did you already get vaccinated? I assume so, since you're wondering about a variant and not 'original' COVID .
For viral respiratory infections of this nature, I've never really seen the need to get a vaccine,
This is an unhelpful answer. Just because I don't feel the need to get vaccinated, doesn't mean that Yi cannot give me guidance. One of the COVID tests came back negative, anyways. So, probably not COVID... and the result came back after I'd done the reading, so my initial interpretation was incorrect then. uc30 could thus mean... seek clarity, not that my initial interpretation was correct. If you don't feel the need to get vaccinated, then I don't see that you need to ask the Yi anything, and I wouldn't even bother getting tested! Just take a bunch of whatever it is want to take and things will resolve themselves in due time.
Yi didn't answer that my approach would end in disaster, mind you, so it doesn't seem like an incorrect approach. But, it seemingly leaves unanswered whether it is the only thing I can or should be doing, so it doesn't hurt to think thoroughly on asking about different approaches I can take, and whether those will be helpful for me in particular.Of course 'resolution' might mean that you get very, very sick and you're only left with very serious side effects, or you might die - but a robust person such as yourself should be okay with whatever happens.
I see... a curious take to consider. I've usually interpreted unchanging hexagrams as being straightforward answers that speak plainly and bluntly about a query, but maybe I need to revise that over time. The fact that both of those readings are unchanging makes it even trickier, I think. Unchanging can indicate that it has nowhere to go, you don't have a personal place to stand with it (no relating hexagram). I have a hard time with them a lot.
I should have mentioned that I'd gotten a COVID, bacterial, and hopefully a general viral swap, if the nurses did their job correctly, earlier in the day, but that's a trend for me at the moment, it seems... forgetting to give all of the details to something I'm asking about... sigh...30 can be about illumination (Image: "Doubled light gives rise to Clarity. Great People with continuous light illuminate the four regions"). I suppose a connection could be made between illumination and vitamin C as the "sunshine" vitamin, but I think it's more likely to mean shed light on this - find out, get a test. It'll help your peace of mind if nothing else, and I assume the tests aren't scarce anymore so there's no reason not to.
Something for me to give some good consideration to... a useful interpretation.21 is similar, about legal proceedings, finding out the truth. "The ancient kings brought light to punishments and enforced the laws." What are the laws here? The mechanisms of how illnesses work and how to treat them, maybe.
Probably. I do have a cough, but it's only been involved in me coughing up phlegm... every half hour or so.I don't think a sore throat is particularly a Covid symptom, either. A person could probably have Covid and a sore throat at the same time, but coughing's the paramount Covid symptom, isn't it?
Good points. Also you don't know what the sore throat is. If it's viral, it'll clear up and there's not much to do for it. If it's strep (you don't know it's not) you need antibiotics.
Thinking about it a little more, I suspect the readings are advice, not direct answers. Shine light, find out, go to the doctor, get to grips with it.
