I have a lot going on with my life right now. I have a business that am happy with how things are going however it's not translating to the bottom line. I am finally somewhat satisfied with my staff and actions taken but not making money. I also am on the tail end of a divorce. Selling the house I lived in with my teenage boys since they were born and also trying to buy a house that I am living in right now. Really overwhelming . To off shoot all the pressure I am doing long yoga and meditation sessions every day.

I ask 2 questions*

What general advice can you give me about what I should be doing at ______to make it profitable?

Hi sattva,
not easy to read without more background information. So I give you the meaning of the lines and then think about what it tells you and then we can go on talking about and maybe find out what you shall do

Please wrote down also the changing lines, because that is more comfortably for the others to read your hexagram. I did it by myself and I see:

28.1.5 > 43.5 > 34

28.1. Be very, very careful. The line is at the bottom, low position so no way to make a big leap.
28.5 We talked a lot about this one at the thread of precision grace but in your case it probably means: Starting something new is not profitable.

43.5 Seems that you struggle with something. Bad habit, bad feelings, bad persons but line 5 means: It is time to win the battle finaly and that it is right in front of you now so don`t stop now to fight against the bad, whatever it is in your case.

34. Can`t read it in your case because it can mean everything. It just tells you that you have to use your might responsibly and correct.

The second one:
28.2.4 > 31.4 > 39

28.2. Hm, haha. Do you have a younger girlfriend? Or an elder boyfriend? (don`t know if you are male or female) If "yes", it seems to fit. The political meaning is that you care about the lower people and that is right and will be fortune, sorry for my horrible english, I`m at work and have none of my bookmarks here at the pc so I need to improvise.

28.4 This means that you stand the crisis. You can and you should. So don`t get worry too much.

31.4 Wow, this is a marriage hexagram and line 4 is the line for the heart. Means: Real love But we don`t talking about a relationship question but about your life crisis. In this case it also means: Don`t worry too much because you are doing the things with and from your heart and so everything will turn out well.

39. If there are blockades, make a break and stand back a little bit. Don`t run against
the hindrance.

All in all I find it intresting that you have got hexagram 28 because it means an unstable and straining situation. BUT you had all good lines 1.2.4. only one of the lines at 28. is not soooooooo great is line 5 but line 5 also doesn`t mean a huge disaster it means just something useless. So I guess the main thing for you is to be more relaxed and trust into that everything will be like it shall be.

Don`t get nervous about the stress Stay cool, practise your yoga (I do so ;-)) go on doing the things with your heart, keep balance and don`t run against hindrances.

I can`t tell you more, because I would need more informations to bring the meaning of the lines in relation to your situation.

As 42 said, "In line one of twenty eight there is a great need to be cautious." The only thing I would add to that is that the commentary says, "Utmost caution is observed in the beginning and in the laying of the foundations." In other words, the very basic principles upon which the business is founded must be paid close attention to for without the foundation, there is a collapse. Line five speaks of keeping up relationships with those below us as well as those above. Otherwise an unstable foundation is created. Pay close attention to the foundation of the business, maybe a mission statement might be a good start, and stick with it.

In the next reading we have a continuation of the theme of "joining with the lowly," In other words, if you associate only with this you assume to be of class, you will miss out on opportunities and ideas that could help you. Line four carries the same theme. The commentary says, "Through friendly relations with people of lower rank, a responsible man succeeds in becoming master of the situation." Be careful of an elitist attitude, or thinking that only "influential" people can help you.

Hi Yvonne

Thank you so much for responding. With so much going on its great to get insight from someone.

I do have a few cool initiatives that are happening in my business which I am excited about. Kind of a drag to hear I should be careful and not to make any big leaps. They seem like creative ideas that will work.

The struggle is probably my silent partner investor. He has been a pain in my side for years. He had a very successful business that he sold for a lot of money. I always feel him haunting me with decision I make even though he, at this point has been taking a hands off approach. I have been trying new things but I always have him in the back of my thoughts wondering what he would think about my approach. Like I said things are set up the way I like them now put the money does not seem to flowing which gets me paranoid about his thoughts. I have thought of plans to have someone buy him out who can really help my business.

Funny you should mention a young women. I am a male and have a young women who works for me that I have a profound love for. My feeling for her have haunted me for over a year. I keep burying my feelings thinking she 15 years younger then me etc but it's amazing when I get this absolute true love feeling. Its great! I use that feeling to imagine what I want in my life. I keep writing her off since she is involved with someone else and since I'm not divorce yet and going through so much turmoil it does not make sense. In general I am following my heart more then ever by meditating a lot and wanting to enjoy every moment of life. Just letting go is a theme I'm working on. It's difficult with so much going on but I keep doing it.

I want to buy the house I currently am living in which I love. Throw coins for advice. Can I get your insight please.

concerning your business situation.....pfffffffff I`m not the best one for to talking about business questions,lol. I`m always totally broke, hard working and never asked Yi something about my business because I have none. Means: I`m not interested much into money and so I have no clue how to make some. I`m good for relationship questions

But in general I would say that harmony should also be among business partner. I guess this is necessary for financial success.

About 61.4 > 10

Hm. For me this line always meant: If there is a decision to make, (as in your case) ask yourself, be honesty to yourself, face god (your soul and your higher self) and don`t care too much what other say even if they are close to you (friends, partner, family).

So it seems you have to make this decision all alone. It means that you shall decide what YOU think, because this will be right for YOU. But you shall not decide egoistic or something like that, you shall be humble inside for being able to hear god`s voice, you know? Probably then you will make a wise decision.

I`m sorry for being short (I`m at work at the moment) would like to say something to your love story but haven`t got the time yet. Maybe later...
