Hello All,
I am writing to report the results of one reading, which I cast yesterday, and to ask for your input about two other questions I posed, about the same matter, today.
Here is the situation. I am being considered for two jobs.
1. Job #1 is somewhat higher profile and more exciting to me. It would entail moving, but I am open to that, as where I currently live is extremely expensive (though the weather is nice). I had an interview with this job, but since they did not get back to me (after two weeks), I assumed that I was no longer being actively considered for the position. Yesterday, I asked whether to make a follow up call, to find out the status of my application, and I received:
37.2.4.5.6 changing to 34
I did send a follow up email, worded in a direct and courteous manner, and received the reply today that my application is still being considered, they are still interested in me, and they will be back in touch soon.
My understanding of the oracle, in light of this result, is: basically, the 37 hexagram contained many moving lines, all of them suggesting a good result, while 34 suggests to me, a situation that is moving forward unimpeded.
Your thoughts on this?
Let me go to the next part of the situation.
2. Job #2 I am also up for a job close to where I live now, (so I wouldn't have to move). This job feels a lot more chaotic, like it would be tons of work, with less support, and like it will open fewer doors. Plus, it is so expensive to live where I am that I will need to stay in my small apartment and just settle in, here. Staying here could be fine but the whole prospect -- of taking this job #2 and staying here --I am a bit tentative about. BUT, at this point, if it comes through, I will accept the job, since it is important to be working and generating an income, at this point. I am a finalist for this job and will be going for an interview soon.
SO my concern is that Job #2 may make me an offer before Job #1 has invited me for a second interview as a finalist. I asked : how shall I handle this? In other words, shall I be passive, and just allow divine timing to work it all out? Should I let job #1 know I'm up for job #2, so that they hurry along, more? Shall I delay as long as possible with job #2?
I basically asked, what's the best attitude to take, with respect to these jobs, in order for all concerned to prosper?
I received 21.5 changing to 25
and 34 u
I notice that 34 u has appeared twice.
25 makes sense of the context of my question, since it was unexpected that job #1 is still considering my application, and inwardly, I was sort of dreading the prospect of job #2 (which I would take if offered and it's the only offer). 21.5 : does that mean just stay with the process? what about the "legal constraints" involved? Does that mean, push the matter with job #1?
34u suggests to me -- as somebody pointed out -- standing my ground. But what does it mean? I sense it means to wait , centered in what I want to happen, and not to take action but just to stand in my own power.
