Are you saying that you understand what hexagram 58 is saying, and that it's just the particular line and the relating hexagram that isn't clear?

I asked the Yi how is my financial situation and got 58.5 > 54

I feel a couple of problems with these questions.
I'll set out my reasoning.
As regards the first question, surely you already know your financial situation (or can find out from bank statements or whatever), so then presumably you were asking the Yi something more than what the question as written stated, maybe about your financial outlook, or something like that.
If you skip the question and just use the second question instead, there's a risk that you might bypass a perfectly useful Yi answer.
As regards the second question, nothing wrong with it IMO except that maybe your financial situation can't be improved, so interpreting the response as telling you how to improve it might not work.
Without clarification of the above I think saying what Yi's answers mean is risky. Fair enough to those who want to take that risk.

I think that it mean you have to accept situation as it is because rise and fall is a part of life and you have to peacfully approach (11>19) to something and everything will be just beautifully
I dont know what are you doing or what is a ptoblem so I cant tell you to whom or to what you have to approach
i restore and let out property and since property is expensive to
maintain my savings run out now. I have come into money but fear
using that as well. I have ridden this economic downturn but living
frugally and working physically hard. I feel very stretched and health
at low level now. Just want to be more securebacl especially with health
becoming an issue (back aches)

Dui is the lower nuclear trigram of 11 and the lower trigram of 19. It suggests partnership, as do hexagrams 11 and 19 taken as wholes. The gist of line 11.3 seems to be "And while the sun and moon endure/ Luck's a chance, but trouble's sure". You need associates who would share the burdens. Get a diagnosis for those backaches. Problems with internal organs can show up as backaches.

I have been hearing of back pains that have turned
out to be more sinister. Saw the Chiropractor who said
it was fixable but seen no improvement yet.

Years ago Lorraine Wilcox posted to IChing_YiJing a lengthy translation on I Ching diagnosis using the Plum Flower Method. If the reading is not mechanical and circumstantial information is included, then I think I Ching results could be relevant. For example, backache from the skeletal system varies with age, weight, general health, stress, physical exertions, and sometimes a genetic predisposition. If your backache began when you were doing something in particular -- a stressful or repetitive task -- then you know the cause. If the pain has no such history, cannot be specifically located, and is not associated with the skeleton, then it might be an internal organ. Kidney cysts, for example, may give a dull pain in the back or side, but usually nothing needs to be done about them.

practice - in truth when I got ill before chinese medicine helped.
Your help on this reading opened up a wider awareness for me and
I am grateful to the Yi which was illuminating further than i was
asking.
I went for specialist financial advice today and started 'shoring' up
my position as you suggested. I took on legal representation and
was helped by a financial ombudsman to investigate a contract that
is threatening my financial stability.
The comment has been made that I have not been that lucky in business
financial set backs on a large scale have squashed my spirit. So I ebulliently
asked the venerable Yi - HOW CAN I GET LUCKY? and the reply was
26.1.3.5 >59 which I hope you dont mind if I start as another thread.
