Finding a job 45.1 to 17

I asked Yi what I need to do at this moment to find a job
and it gave me 45.1 to 17. I've received this answer before,
coming together and following.

45 is all about coming together, to seek help in a group, the
group has the power to achieve a goal where one person cannot

Changing line 1 is about finding leader figure, so I take it
that this group should have a strong leader figure.

And 17 is about yielding to where things most likely
are flowing or least resistant but using discernment so I'm just not following
blindly.

At this point I just can't connect what gathering in a group and
finding a leader means in context to finding a job. I'm just looking
for a menial janitorial or dishwashing job, what does that have
to do with joining a group or finding a leader? Am I interpreting this correctly?

Its not about looking for a leader....it's just about calling out and making your needs known. in terms of your question quite simply this may mean to get a job simply apply for them or to someone you think can help. The important thing here is not about looking for leaders, afterall how many of us wander about the earth looking for leaders LOL,,,it's about not being too insecure or fearful about calling out, applying, asking. There's no need to hold back. Call out/apply and you meet a good response.

Perhaps there is something you particularly want to do but feel afraid of going for through fear of rejection. This answer tells you not to fear and to go for what you want.

You say you just want a basic job.....well obviously applying is the first step but I wonder with 45 and 17 you actually have another aspiration that calls you that you are afraid to follow ?

thanks for the clarification, Trojan. Ya, I've been applying everywhere for some time now,
sort of feeling discouraged at the moment. If there is something I'm afraid of doing, it's pretty much blurred at this point, nor do I think I honestly care what that is at this time, I just need to make money. The only thing remotely close that comes to mind is meeting someone, but that doesn't make sense cause one can't really date in the state of being unemployed. I can just imagine how that conversation will go,
"So what do you do?"
"Uh...well...I gotta go, see you around sometime, bye."

Hexagram 17 as your relating hexagram signifies that mainly you've been resting and not acting to find work, in my humble opinion. That's the way it looks to me.

There's no way that can be right. I've applied to a lot of places, sent my resumes, drove to jobs and applied. I'm running out of cash on gas driving to different places to apply for jobs, so this whole I've been hesitating is off. Sorry...

Sorry the interpretation was so wildly off. Maybe you've got to make a more direct and personal connection with someone in a position to offer you a job, as opposed to sending out resumes or filling out applications. Somehow you've got to see and influence a person with the power to give you a job.

I can't think of anyone in the top of my head who fits this mold at the moment. Would it be wise
to ask Yi how to find this person?

this phrase and what the Judgement & Image parts say about your temple and weapons, makes me things if you need to check again your resume. Hex 17 might points to that direction too.

Great insight, Anemos. This seems to resonate as well. I looked at my
resume and it seems there has to be some changes made. Thank you.

you are welcome. What we sometimes forget while makings our resume is the transferable skill

I don't know how things work in your country but if it were my reading , I would investigate any service for unemployed people is available. (because of h45). Readings , imo, have an universal but a local aspect as well. So maybe what the reading says, is beyond the resume itself but stress out that what you can offer doesn't reach the other end. this is why I quote that text at my previous post.
