Hello -

Briefly -- I left a job and did my best to leave my employer on the best of terms, however, we argued. I've been upset for awhile because we were close, yet he revealed himself to be pretty untrustworthy. This has left me feeling a little torn- I'm obviously better off without this whole situation in my life, and on the other hand, I feel a loss, and a little angry at myself for being so judgemental.

I asked the i ching how to let go and see this positively, and got 15 - 56

Can anyone offer any perspective? Thanks

Simply control your feelings toward him, don't take offense at whatever he said or did, rise above the situation, self control, forget about him and move on. Don't waste another brain cell thinking about this person.

Move to moderate your thoughts and feelings, and control your urges to express self-pity, anger, judgement - or self-condemnation (the mirror-image of judgement, which often comes after the pendulum has swung the other way in your mind). 15 suggests that you need to even things out in your mind and see things from a more modest and compassionate perspective for everyone involved. 56 tells you that by adopting that attitude, you will be able to move on and - to use the catchphrase - forget the episode, but not the lesson.
