Grasshopper (locust?) swarm nightmare / 21UC

Last night I dreamt of grasshoppers. It is mostly hazy now, but the parts I remember include standing in a field of tents and and pointing at an empty plot and deciding it is not a good place to stop (perhaps put up my tent?) because there are grasshoppers burrowed in the ground. The next thing I remember is being below ground with a group of people in a bunker trying to escape these grasshoppers. Myself and and this small group end up in the smallest chamber underground, locking ourselves in and terrified not just of the swarm of grasshoppers (locusts?) but of the terrified screams and mayhem of the crowd beating down the doors to get away from the attack. That's all I remember right now. It was incredibly scary and not unlike nightmares I've had in the past that are a bit like swarms of storms.

I asked Yi what this dream is trying to tell me: 21 UC. Biting through. Definitely a picture of the fear I experienced in the dream, but is 21UC telling me to figure out that heart of the issue? That's what I asked Yi for in the first place!

Any ideas?

Grasshopers don't swarm, so it was locusts.
One of the main characteristics of locusts is their huge front teeth.
21 means biting and cracking with (front) teeth.

As about what this is trying to tell you... some ideas:

Are you a practising, or were you brought up as, a christian? If so, you might find some message in exodus 10 / the plague of locusts.
Do you have an insect phobia?
21 also symbolises anger, and justice. Are you afraid of someone's anger towards you?

Thanks, diamanda. I do have a fear of insects. Some of my vivid dreams really feel like premonitions to me. Maybe this one was just a run of the mill nightmare. I haven't had the chance to read exodus yet, though now I may just out of curiosity.

I think its a reflection of something that you feel trully overwhelmed about, once you deal with that you will make a break through. Or the 21 could represent the fact you are breaking through by having the dream. I think the dream itself is about something that is over whelming.

Do you feel you're in danger of being eaten by anything, metaphorically? Maybe the dream latched onto a phobia to ensure your attention about something else. (Unless, of course, there are legitimate locust-swarm dangers where you live.)
