Yesterday I was at my local shopping centre where you can access free public wifi (which I don't use) and I was sitting at a cafe waiting to be served and using my own internet on my phone.
As the waitresses acknowledged me but didn't serve me in a timely manner I got up and left but noticed the 'Security Guard' for the centre was standing leaning against a post quite close to where I was sitting and on his phone.
Something didn't seem quite right about his behaviour and I wonder whether he was either taking photos of me or trying to hack into my phone using the public wifi at the centre.
What do I need to know about the Security Guard trying to hack into my phone - Hexagram 64.2.6>16
I always read Hexagram 16 Enthusiasm as an energetic or excitement so I'm reading that as him getting excited about trying to get into my information.
Hex 64 Line 1 - he was trying but got held back and couldn't get far at all either because I wasn't using the wifi or because I stopped using my phone when I got up and walked away.
Line 6 - he got caught out by me as he did look guilty/suspicious he was doing the wrong thing.
What do I need to know about him taking photos of me

I think he was getting ready to or at least contemplating the idea but I got up and moved before he could take one.

64 - not yet across. You don't have all the facts, so you cannot yet draw any conclusions, and to do so - as you have done here - is like the fox having a mishap before getting all the way across the water - you're all wet! You haven't followed a path with much merit, and not much else!

And like the wine of 64.6, rushing to conclusions based on one's fears might be intoxicating, but is not likely correct!

Thanks Freeda fair enough - definitely not intoxicated by BS like this potential. As someone that's suffered PTSD you tend to be on high alert of weird behaviour at all times.

It just seemed to me that you made a conclusion about what was going on and that's the conclusion you came up with when you 'asked' the Yi about it. Maybe the guard was having a fight with his wife, or had just been given a bad shift. But whatever, it didn't seem like you had enough 'evidence' to draw any correct conclusions about what was going on, and it doesn't seem like the Yi did either.

Interesting answer to your "What do I need to know about him taking photos?" I mean 20. View - 8. Seeking Union certainly seems to somehow reference the whole idea of seeing and being seen. I think I get a clearer understanding of 20.6 from this - the security guard's job was to keep an eye on the whole area so 20.6 could be referring to seeing a very wide overview, Union with the whole mob, not just one person.

Hmmm I guess so except he wasn't keeping an eye on the area he appeared to be 'Viewing' his phone - so perhaps that's all it was! It was just a weird spot to be standing and as soon as he saw me see him he stopped doing what he was doing and walked away. Probably innocent and just looking at his phone out of boredom.

I suppose if I had a barely above minimum wage job I’d spend a lot of time viewing my phone too.
