I have been working too much lately and woke up feeling
run down/burnt out - I went to an apptment where the lady
parted saying look after yourself...

so i asked Yi what can I do to look after myself as i have not
thought od something to change/reverse the energy - answer

38.2.4.6 > 24 - 24 says good balance will return I hope

line 2 - meeting in a narrow alleyway ??
line 4 - trusting someone when lonely ? a work colleague ?
line 6 - seeing allies as enemies ?

maybe I have not been with my favorite people - does that mean
get with my good people hence return 24 -

Dear hopex,

Hexagram 38 really brings a sense of isolation, doesn't it? Going through this "38 phase" makes you feel that things are worse than they really are and also brings a feeling of mistrust that even the lady saying "look after yourself" can be taken as "bad omen".
My impression is that the answer to your question "what can I do to look after myself" is related to your relationship with other people, your friendships and connections.
Line 2 can be literally meeting someone by chance. Just to give you an example, years ago shortly after asking the Yi about someone I did bump into the person on the street while walking to catch a bus
So, you could meet somebody (no appointment is needed!) that could give you good advice about health or maybe just an encounter that would make you feel better.
Line 4 seems to reinforce the idea that you will overcome your fears or problems (if they in fact exist) with the help of other people. They would either prove themselves good friends or would provide you with the advice that you need. I think that the line at the top is your moment of realisation that not everybody is your enemy and not everything is against you to cause you harm. In this case, the opposition and loneliness represented by 38 reaches its peak and transforms itself, hence Hex 24.

Pocossin - I had not realised how much i had forgone social contact.
I missed people but made it secondary to 'things to do' great - will do ! hug
