Following Hilary´s suggestion I am posting this new thread so that more members can see the answer the Yijing gave me and comment on it.
I reproduced my post from Hilary´s thread about her suggestion to start using the Yijing with relationship questions.
This thread is great! It helps us,beginners, to augment our awareness of the Yijing by promoting a positive exchange with more experienced members.
I need help to understand an answer of the Yijing. My question to the Yijing was:
What is my Dao? The Yijing answered me with 60.5 >19 . Can anybody help me?
Thanks for the kind attention!

If the subject is satisfied with his life style of being modest and self-control, there will be good fortune. To go forward is noble and decent. That is what 60.5 says. Your Dao is very good and worth following.

Sweet limitation is a satisfying experience, where you don't get everything you wish for, but you get what you need. And being cool with that.

Sweet limitation is simply about having good taste, allowing that to both move and guide you. If we have to choose then we choose what is best. It's the theory that pleasure can tell you that you are on the right path.
The original school of philosophy called Hedonism actually had a lot going for it, especially after it grew into Epicurean Hedonism. You might check it out:

Modern definition of "Epicurean: a person who attempts to combine ethical food consumption with gourmet eating"

I really like that. It can apply to anything regarding our tastes and choices or manner of living. Even choosing what to think, as though from a menu. And what to speak.

The dao of Dilson is to be in charge, and 'git it done', using only select ingredients of whatever is available; something worthy of feeding gods.

Not meaning to sidetrack, but I don't get 'overseeing' from 19, as much as 'underpinning'. I get this from the hexagram structure and the trigrams natures, and their relationship to each other. 19 makes a place for, and a potential for. A lake supporting earth. It is from within the soft lake bottom, the seed of foliage grows. So, to me, 19 appears to provide the field (thinking rice field) and the ti-ming, more than directing those activities from above. It provides the right conditions, and the potential for fruition. It's, to me, also a picture of giving birth to, as the lake (little Joy) comes from mother's womb.

It's counterpart of h20, standing on top, seeing and being seen. But 19's power happens below the surface of the water. The bottom and circumference are its limits, as is the time provided for gestation.

"overseeing" doesn't resonates much re 19. Under-stand is a word I use. The 19 entity , to me , isn't standing up there but she is close to the things happen, working with the roots, in a way.

'underpinning' is a word I wasn't aware but it makes a lots of sense and describes accurate the "feeling" of 19, the way I perceive it.

Oversee (or supervise) only fits here in the sense of manage. It sounds like you're not doing any of the work but getting paid more than those who do. And it's getting the work done that counts here. Undertake is another better word.

The earth does oversee, look after, provide space and nutrients for the lake, but rather than remaining "clean" and "spiritual" from up there somewhere (my old impression), she's not too squeamish to get down and dirty and wet, i.e. not merely supervising from above. In business they're known as working managers, not ivory tower bosses or desk jockeys.

60.5 provides a healthy measure for 19 to work in.

I like this answer a lot for Dilson's question.
