In the midst of all of the inner turmoil lately a friend of mine, this Italian guy who I have known for two years, has also broken up with his ex. (I broke up with my long-term boyfriend a few months ago).
He calls me and I call him about 4 or 5 times a week and we talk for hours. He came to my city to visit his best friend and we spent the three day weekend together (platonically!)
He just flew to the States and called me as soon as he landed. Really sweet.
The funny thing is the messages he sent me recently saying, "I am really glad that I am getting to know you BETTER" (the uppercase was his) and "you know you are more attractive than any of the men I have known you to date" **blush**
Last night I spoke with the partner of his best friend and he said, "you knoooowww (dragging out that word) I heard so-and-so talking to X (his parnter) when he was here and he likes you."
My thoughts, "wow,..ok take it slow"
My sisters words were "he's sweet and gorgeous if you dont open your eyes and take him i will!" (but she's married so she cant'..and she reads this forum

Today I asked if that was true, what were his feelings for me and got:
