I hope someone can help me throw some light on this one. I've been trying to sell my property (including an old house in which I live) for the past 5 months or so. I was to sign a deal last month but the guy backed out last minute. So I lost my new retainer job as well as my tenant. I did not sign a job contract since I thought I'd have enough in the bank. Now when I ask the Yi whether I can find a buyer this month (July), I get hex 22 line 4 moving changing to 30. What is the Yi saying? Not a robber but a suitor. Strange. Da Lui says joy in the midst of sadness. Loss at first, gain later.

Thank you!

I think 22.4 describes someone showing an interest in your property. He may make you an offer you feel is low, but at least it will be genuine ("He is not a robber ").
30. Doesn't seem to say whether you should accept the offer, however. Perhaps the two fire trigrams means you need to advertise - light a fire - or perhaps work to make the sale a win-win for both people - both balls of fire.

I hope you'll let us know how things work out.

Could also be the original potential buyer coming back to you again to re-negotiate.

Can I find a buyer this month (July)?
22.4 > 30

Grace changing to a meeting of minds. I think it possible if the property is made attractive enough. Have you considered painting the front door or gate white? If interest rates are rising in your area, this will increase the costs of a mortgage to a buyer. However, if the buyer assumes your lower interest mortgage (if you have one) then rising interests rates will make your property more attractive. Do all your friends know that you want to sell?

I don't have the spare cash for a fresh coat of paint and the floor needs polishing and the plaster has fallen from my bedroom ceiling. After 20 plus years, the house is not worth anything anyway, even if there' s fresh paint etc. The price I'm asking is only for the plot. But will painting the gate white help? No mortgage involved. Thank you!

Thank you Patro. So no buyer in July? I can wait. I'm probably getting a tenant who's willing to stay here short term - until I sell.

July's over and an old buyer did come back - bravo White Owl! but he wanted me to sell at the old unacceptable price. So I wait. Well, at least I got me new tenant!

22 implies making attractive for a sale - 30 some
kind of synergistic arrangement. If not painting
how about some portable pots of flowers that you
can take with you or a good tidy up -
