Good for you! Giving you a safe creative outlet, maybe? Something to keep your attention and distract you from problems, as a headboard is used to direct the young bull? (Again figuratively; you're neither a boar nor a bull lol)and "what is the purpose of learning to play music" ( I started guitar lessons)

That sounds like mastery to me, though . Think in terms of horses, maybe. A gelded horse is still powerful, it's just his power can be directed and used, instead of him being at the mercy of it.But it always seemed Yi was saying there was advantage to staying & learning my lesson, that I would come out on top, be able to use the situation for my advantage and so I stayed on. I trusted what I thought Yi was saying.
I think Yi is questioning your idea 'wildness' was good for you. It's saying the harmful aspects of the wildness, whatever they were, are no longer a threat and that's a good thing.Yesterday feeling hopeless, I asked
"is there any wildness left in me?"

BIG restraint to MINOR restraint
Well it is like channelling the Creative through discipline. Beautiful music whether it's heavy rock or classical isn't produced without self discipline and practise and a willingness in a sense to be 'under the yoke of '. These are good answers, good solid answers. Being wild is all very well but it can lead to some broken down places but when you actually harness energy you can really make things happen according to your will and purpose. It seems learning to play music is in a sense very much reflecting what you're learning in daily life, you're learning to harness power to create and to move forward in your life.and "what is the purpose of learning to play music" ( I started guitar lessons)

I don't really understand the situation with the relationship and where you live and everything but you can only do what you can do. Maybe you are doing a great deal better than you think you are and being wild was a self perception that served you in the past but now your life is much more to do with a harnessing of your will and energy which takes some self discipline which Yi seems to be saying you now have in 26.4. and 26.5Now, I'm seeing that all along I WANTED to retain wild freedom & self-expression. This situation is dulling & civilizing. And my repressed rage about the unfairness of it all truly poisoned some good moments & potentials - my tusks gored those around me, you could say. I had to come to terms with my codependency & personality disorder, my own childlike behavior.
thank you this is very helpful! I get caught up in metaphors easily.'Gelded pig's tusks.
Good fortune.'
Yi's terseness can be confusing! Gelding is castration. The tusks part only means that when a boar is castrated, the urge to use his tusks to fight with the other boars over the lady pigs will be gone.
I'm not sure what Yi's message to you is. Human females don't work like male pigs. Maybe, "You've had the wildness tamed out of you," or maybe Yi's asking if you feel castrated (so to speak), or maybe if/when you break free from things that are (metaphorically) castrating you, you'll regain a little wildness.

Yes I think the sense of freedom in that wildness is really what I struggle to let go of. I have been told many times in my life I am crazy, too much, wild, and leaned into it defensively for a good while.I think Yi is questioning your idea 'wildness' was good for you. It's saying the harmful aspects of the wildness, whatever they were, are no longer a threat and that's a good thing.
