hex 38.5 to hex 10

hi

i am new and need you help please

i consulted the i ching and got hex 38 with mutation in line 5 giving rise to hex 10.

my question was: if you will return to work in my previous company before summer 2023.

I had resigned from the company in January 2023, due to lack of understanding.

could you please tell me if yes i will return or not ? i dont jnow how can i understand this result

38.5 - 10 suggests to me that you could return but the I Ching seems to ask you to consider why you would want to.

Just one question more pelease. When you get primary hex with mutation to another one. That mean that first hex is past o present?
For example my question, i had lot of comuncation issue with manager, from January i dont have any contact with them, si in my casé hex 38, he refers to the past situation?

And hex with mutation is future?

For example my question was that if I will return before summer 2023. Well before end of June.. IT mean that the Future will Be from tomorrow till June?

Sorry i am asking lot of questions.. I am little lost

I think of the second hexagram as telling where things are headed, that is, the future. However many people do not, so I think it’s best to ask variety of questions and just see for yourself how the IC speaks to you. The tricky thing with the question you’ve asked here is that there are no hexagrams that say “yes” or hexagrams that say “no” so you aren’t going to get a yes or no answer. Try to come up with a way of phrasing your question that doesn’t look for a yes or no answer. Like, “How would it be for me to return in June?” Or ”What should be my attitude about returning to this job?”

If this was my reading I would be applying it to matters in the current moment rather than the past. 38 in the image offers the insights that for a best outcome, it requires applying greater discernment to the situation, This entails looking to find common ground, and a negotiated way forward, around the major issues and letting go of your grievances around minor issues.

38.5 points to hexagram 10 ' Fulfillment' and speaks of giving a new structure to the future if you can adopt this approach. Regrets will vanish, when you have made a decision you can fully endorse. Then there will be wholesome support from your allies such that how you forward will be a positive experience.

In my case, i would like to return to my work but i dont want to ask the company that I would love to return

I prefer to receive the offer job from them even if it was me who had resigned in January.

So i think the line 5 is regarding manager, maybe can i understand that I will return thanks to him, because he will put an end to this past opposition situation?
