Hex 46 unchanging not sure how to take it here.

I consulted the I Ching to ask for guidance with a very tricky situation.
I am getting married in 5 weeks our organist had a busy up with our priest and won't play but his wife still wants to sing. Given the bad feeling between them we don't want to have that on our day.
So I asked should we have xxx sing or not. We got 46 unchanging. Any ideas anyone?

46: the noble one heaps up small things in order to achieve something high and great.

So you can't have the big grand organ playing.

But, you can have a smaller thing: the singer perform.
and it would be good, no?

Oh, good thought, Moss Elk . I had seen this thread but had no idea what it might mean.

A second "step upward" might be to find some other accompaniment for the singer, unless she's willing to sing acapella, which maybe she is.

Or maybe in the next few weeks the organist and the priest will take their own "steps upward" to resolve their differences themselves?

I see 46uc as step up and out of and beyond the current situation...it's outgrown. So I guess here that translates to get someone new ....completely new, not xxx.

I often see 46uc as 'you have outgrown this' ...it doesn't fit you anymore. Growing upwards means moving on

I see 45 as gathering in and 46 as thrusting out and up. The small steps in 46 can amount to growth....but uc to me it seems a very open vista for onwards and upwards....so I can't see this as hang on to the old singer
