Hi All,
Somebody close to me died recently.
I asked the Yi : how is she ? (meaning, her spirit) and received 22u.
I took that to mean: the inner (sincerity) and outer dimensions (appearances) are perfectly balanced. Any thoughts about death in re to Hex 22?
I've looked through some interesting threads about Hex 22 though I'm still not quite sure what to make of it in this regard.

Having read Dolores Cannon's books where spirits themselves talk about the 'spirit' world, the other side of reality, I can see 22 as an indirect answer.
What you think you have lost - was only a shell, a tiny itsy bitsy part of the soul. The physical body was only a vessel carrying the energy blob. So don't worry, the soul is indestructible and perfectly OK. (opposite of 47, the soul is free to move anywhere, disentangled)
You don't understand the whole picture by looking at the surface, there is a whole mountain(upper trig.), but the fire doesn't shine very far.

There will be other incarnations in the future (not necessarily on Earth), and to make matter even more complex, all the souls live many lives simultaneously, yes including yours and mine.
Because physical bodies just can't contain the whole soul's energy at once, and there is no need to.
A small part is enough to live, that allows for faster collection of experiences.

An astute and thought-provoking analysis, Ashteroid!! Thanks for coming through so reliably with your interpretations.
(ps-- I 've heard a lot about Delores Cannon)

22 is generally about us seeing no further than what limits our vision,
and that's most commonly our culture with its assumptions and beliefs.
You might need to die first if you really need to know.

Bradford, That is quite apt, thank you.
You see the humor, too, in my question, reflected back to me in the reply.
So are questions about life/death off limits, do you suppose?

I asked a follow-up question, to clarify the 22u reply, and received :
48u, which I understood to mean: she has returned to the Well, the plentiful source of all waters.

Hexagram 22 - as Bradford says, seeing no further than one's vision. I posed this question right at the point of death and maybe it represents the VEIL between life/death which we cannot see past.

Wilhelm:The town may be changed,
But the well cannot be changed.
It neither decreases nor increases.

Interesting answer hex 48. The well is our soul... which is immortal no matter what.
