Hexagram 24.2.4.6>38 New Business Venture

Hey guys, wanted to get your input on the reading. Having some difficulty deciphering it.

For the past year I have been working a 9-5 job, but at the same time I started my own counseling business, which up until now has not flourished. In a few months I plan to leave my job to go to graduate school full time. I'm at a crossroads as to whether or not to renew the lease for the business or if I should just let it go.

I asked how should I proceed with the business once I leave my current job. I got:

Hexagram 24.2.4.6 > 38

I'm having a hard time understanding if the Iching is suggesting I return to life prior to having started the business or to return to the business full time (now that I will have more time without my current job).

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read and respond.

Hi pink_panther. When I have gotten hex. 24 it has usually meant to return from the very beginning that you were (so prior), so when you didn't have the business. I think line 6 might indicate what can happen if you wait too long to return and keep the business for a while. Hex. 38 probably indicates the situation you are in right now and might continue if you keep it; low business, not many people taking advantage of your skill. Overall, it's up to you where you want to head so good luck!!
