Hexagram 27 I'm jobless and

alone. I live with people who I really don't like. I've lost some of my friends and it
seems my life for a while now has turned into a country song.
I keep asking different questions and the hexagram that
always seems to pop up is Hex 27. From an amateur of the Yi, I
take this as "take care of yourself." Can anyone else with more insight into the Yi,
give light as how the Yi is advising me to rectify my situation? Thanks.

When life is on the ebb cycle, one is likely to sit on the ash heap like Job and lament. one negative thought leads to another and this can bring depression, feelings of futility, etc.

27 is advice to be attentive to how you nourish yourself. It's probably a good time to commit to meditation or a spiritual practice. Read things that inspire you. Watch what you eat and choose foods that won't make you tired or sluggish. Take a walk everyday, get out in nature. Be exceedingly gentle with yourself and don't indulge in self-flagellation. Downturn times can often be a really good opportunity to simplify your life, get humble, cultivate gratitude for even smallest blessings. Think of it all like alchemy: you will begin to spin gold out of misfortune. keep your sense of humor if you can.

You are never alone truly - you are a warrior making your way through a dark night; ask for help out loud from what ever forces you believe in. It will come. This too shall pass.

According to Nancy Garen's book, there will be great improvement with time when you take on a new course. There is no need to fell nervous, unhappy at all. Vent your fears and frustrations... perfectly OK.
