Hexagram 28 > 13 bad news?

I asked about a situation i'm in at the moment whereby i've recently split with my long-term girfriend who lives abroad and who is younger than me so is 'spreading her wings' as it were and exploring life. I was a little upset when I consulted the iching as I am at a crossroads myself personally, trying to decide what to do with my life and I got 28 with lines 1,2 and 6 changing it to 13.

Is this all bad news? I read it that I needed to step back and see what happens but what is the significance of hexagram 13? Why is 28 so scary??

28 is not scary. It just suggests that your girl friend is too much younger for you. 13 advises that you open your mind and try to find someone who stands on your side. I think someone is there and you two have the same goal.

28 means something is too much for you to undertake it, and you need to leave where you are now and that any place you go is good for you.

Thanks Wilma, I am interested in how the iching seemed to pick up on my nature at the time i asked the question, i was very distraught but am calmer now. All very interesting.
