After some texting, I met this guy on Thursday for coffee. We talked two hours. He told me he wants different things than what I want in life, that is, to keep playing the field while I want a long term relationship. He captivated me still....but he gave me his phone number first and I reciprocated. He texted me hours after our first meeting before bedtime and texted me again this morning and we have texted back and forth. I know he wants different things, but he's making me feel really like I'm in outer space, like a schoolboy before I fell in love the first time decades ago....So I consulted the I-ching on this, asking what my future is with this guy, if any, and got Hexagram 48 with changing line 6 which then turns to Hexagram 57.

Sorry for the late reply.....my notifications were not coming to my email....UPDATE: Well, this past weekend came and went without us texting each other but on late Sunday night, he texted me after we hadn't texted in two days, and asked me how I was doing as he'd been working all weekend. We talked and he told me his days off this week and I told him my days off and left it at that.... soon after, he asked me out for a second date. We have a scheduled date this Thursday, God willing......he wanted to go to the library and explore.

Thanks for the answer! I appreciate it. Late Sunday night, he asked me out for a second date. I agree that this could be a slow process of getting to know each other, but it's nice to actually feel hopeful even if it doesn't work out. He's quite an interesting guy to say the least and I'm attracted to him to.
