Hi there I have been having awful feelings of grief recently...particularly since the two year anniversary of the sudden loss of my boyfriend this July. I asked the I Ching..."What can i do about these awful feelings of grief"...the answer i received was hexagram 5 lines 2 and 3 becoming hexagram 3...does anyone have any thoughts on this? please only reply to the first post this was incorrect...it was hexagram 3 i finally received not 33

Hi Sparkler
First please accept my love and support during these difficult times for you. Grief is something we all have to bear at some time in our life - it is a natural and necessary emotional process that we must experience after losing some one that we love. Please do not think of grief or the feelings of grief as "awful". It will be difficult but try to celebrate that you are feeling the way you are. From personal experience I know this change of mind set can help the healing enormously.
If you are interested then try reading material on the Kubler-Ross Model for the 5 stages of grief. I know it helped me understand what was going on in my head !!!

Your IC reading I think links in with this:

5 - Attending. You are in a bit of a limbo situation at the moment. Attend to the things that you need to focus on. Emotionally?
5.2 - You are at a low point (the tide is washing back from the sands). Nothing going on around you seems important.
5.3 - Carrying on like this is making you vulnerable and robbing you of your energy (outlaws). But you can and will spring out of this feeling....... because
