Hexogram 28

Hello,
I'm new n casted to obtain clarity as to making sense of a past relationship. I got hexogram 28. He recently married n makes no sense how it all came down.

Can someone help with the interpretation. I'm taking it as our relationship was unbalanced. Or maybe I should stop trying to make sense of it?

In a prior cast asking what occurred between us I got hexogram 54. Not sure if it meant he made a great error marrying another as it was rushed.

Regarding Hexagram 28. Are you familiar with Wikiwing? It says:

'

The lake submerges the tree. Great overstepping.
Noble one sets up alone without fear,
Withdraws from the time without sadness.'

Perhaps the I Ching is advising you to go on alone without fear or sadness.
The Nuclear Hexagram is Hexagram 1. Perhaps there is potential for creativity in this situation.

He may have made a mistake, but that is not your problem. What you have is an opportunity.

The sequence and pair is 27:28. As you are now no longer nourished by that past relationship you can now stand on your own and connect to a new, higher source of nourishment. I think 27:28 can be a place of "initiation."

Initiation is a rite of passage marking entrance or acceptance into a group or society. It could also be a formal admission to adulthood in a community or one of its formal components. In an extended sense it can also signify a transformation in which the initiate is 'reborn' into a new role.

Initiations can be challenging.

Hexagram 28 is saying to me that the situation is overloaded and anything you can do to reduce stress would be good.
